Right: Ben in North Coast Representative jacket with Mid Coast Zone Junior Champion trophy, March 99.
I go to Beechwood Public School in year five and I am turning eleven on the eighteenth of may nineteen ninety nine.
FAVOURITE HOBBIES: I enjoy athletics (as you probably would of realized by reading the captions above). I train for half an our to an hour every day. I have made it to zone, regional, and state level competition. I go to Little Athletics every Friday after noon, from five thirty till around eight o'clock. There I do activities such as the 100 , 200 and 400 m sprints, 800 and 1 500m long distance and field events witch include long jump, high jump, triple jump, discus, shot put and turbo javelin.
Another one of my hobbies is playing the guitar. I get lessons from Ken McArthur, at the Port Macquarie Music Centre. I am learning both strumming and picking techniques, as well as music theory. I enjoy playing blues, folk and rock. I play in our church band and have also played for school items.
I am also involved in the Sing 2001 Choir. Sing 2001 is run by the Department of Education all over NSW. We are probably singing at the Opening ceremonies of the Pan Pacific Games, the Olympic Games and the Paralympics and also at the Centennary of the Federation of Australia . We are going to be singing with 6000 others at Darling Harbour and on the Opera House steps in Education Week.
I like sketching cars, trucks, faces, trees and any thing else that comes to mind at the time. I've put a few pieces of art in the Wauchope Show. Some have won prizes. My best picture is a portrait inspired by my friend Wayde.
